Terry Leonard

Terry Leonard has worked on behalf of tenants and users of space for 16 years in the Washington metropolitan area.  He has represented both small and large clients in over 400 leasing and sales transactions encompassing over 4 million square feet with a cumulative value in excess of $300 million.

Before joining Larsen Commercial, Terry spent several years with Cassidy Pinkard and, most recently, as a Director with Cushman & Wakefield developing his tenant representation practice.  During his career, Terry has chosen not to represent landlords, and, as a result, he believes he delivers a more unbiased and conflict-free service to his clients.

Prior to beginning his commercial real estate career, Terry spent 17 years in the securities industry with companies such as Prudential Securities and Merrill Lynch. During those years, he gained invaluable experience and insight working in positions in retail brokerage, financial planning and internal marketing throughout the Mid Atlantic region.

Terry graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance. He furthered his knowledge of finance and taxes by earning his Certified Financial Planning degree from the International College for Financial Planning. Then, in 1985, he added law to his educational resume, graduating from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America.  Terry is an active member of the Maryland and District of Columbia Bar Associations.
